國電常州發(fā)電有限公司于2003年7月注冊成立，注冊資本10億元人民幣，由國電江蘇電力有限公司、華潤電力（江蘇）投資有限公司、江蘇省國信資產(chǎn)管理集團有限公司、常州投資集團有限公司共同出資組建。公司現(xiàn)裝機容量為2×630MW機組，2006年正式投產(chǎn)發(fā)電。
國電常州發(fā)電有限公司位于常州市新北區(qū)春江鎮(zhèn)，該項目由中國國電集團公司、華潤電力（江蘇）投資有限公司、江蘇省國信資產(chǎn)管理集團有限公司和常州投資集團有限公司分別按51%、25%、20%和4%的投資比例共同出資。公司規(guī)劃容量為520萬千瓦，一期2臺60萬千瓦機組，二期和三期工程共4臺100萬千瓦機組。一期工程于2003年2月正式啟動，2006年實現(xiàn)雙投。
